Paul Harris, Moran and Company’s southwest region partner, has extensive experience in the management and disposition of troubled real estate assets and mortgages dating back to his tenure at the Federal Asset Disposition Association in 1987. Paul managed a $1.2 billion portfolio of troubled loans and real estate for the FADA. In 1989, Paul joined a team to start Northcorp Realty Advisors in Dallas, Texas. Northcorp became one of the RTC’s largest Asset Management and Disposition contractors. By 1992, NorthCorp’s assignments included the management and sale of real estate and mortgage loan assets in 40 states from over 140 financial institutions. Collectively, the assignments consisted of over 12,000 assets including commercial and residential real estate (OREO) assets, non-performing loan assets and almost 100 subsidiary companies comprising over $2.3 billion in value. In 1994, Paul joined Archon Group, a Goldman Sachs subsidiary, becoming Director of Multi-family Investments with responsibility for Archon’s national Multi-Family acquisitions and dispositions nationwide. Paul orchestrated the sale of 255 multifamily properties with over 56,000 units while with Archon.
