Moran & Company's principals understand apartment investors because they have been investors themselves.
Between 1971 and 1994, Moran & Company's principals were money raisers and sponsors for the development of 49 new apartment communities. Tom Moran and Tony Rossi raised over $1 billion in capital for these new, to-be-built apartment properties, aggregating over 14,000 units. Mary Ann King joined Moran and Rossi in 1983 to assist in the identification of additional joint venture opportunities and the arrangement of debt for those ventures. Moran & Company's principals still have ownership interest in 6,980 apartments. RMK Management Corporation, an affiliated property management firm, manages 6,558 units in Chicago and Minneapolis. Moran & Company initiated its brokerage business in 1995 and has marketed and sold $11 billion of apartments since 1995 and sold $1.8 billion of apartments in 2007.
Moran & Company's principals understand how investors/buyers evaluate apartment acquisition opportunities because, for the last 37 years, they have been investors themselves.
