Curtis Walker Joins Moran & Company as Partner in the Southeast Office
ATLANTA, GA – Moran & Company’s Southeast Office announced today that Curtis Walker, former Acquisitions Partner for Wood Partners, has joined the brokerage firm as a Partner for the Southeast region based in Atlanta. In this new role, Walker will be responsible for assisting with the expansion of Moran’s Southeast brokerage platform and maintaining high level relationships with key clients.
Walker’s history in multifamily acquisition dovetails ideally with Moran’s platform, which focuses on institutional relationships within both the sale of existing multifamily assets, as well as capital placement for new development projects. During his tenure with Wood Partners, Walker oversaw acquisition activities for the East Region of Wood Partners, and was directly responsible for the acquisition of approximately $750 million of multifamily investments. Prior to joining Wood Partners, Walker was the Senior Vice President of Trammell Crow Company, handling the development of multifamily in the southeast region. He has held other senior level positions at such firms as, Post Properties, Fairfield Residential and AMLI Residential.

The Moran Southeast brokerage team targets the primary southeastern metropolitan MSAs, and each team member began his career on the principal side of the business (with senior experience in acquisition and ground-up development). Moran’s expertise includes the disposition of stabilized Core, Core Plus and Value Add communities, as well as the capitalization of new development assets for a diverse client roster.
